Rates:
$125 per 50 minute session. Cash and check are accepted.
Fees may be reduced for those with extraordinary
medical expenses or other financial hardships, and will be determined
on an individual basis. Please inquire if you wish to be considered
for this reduction.
Insurance:
I am a participating provider with Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, HealthyCT, and United Behavioral Health, which includes Connecticare as well as other plans.
Services may also be fully or partially covered
if you have out-of-network coverage with another insurance company.
This means that you would be responsible for the fee at the
beginning of each session and then you would submit a receipt
that I prepare to the insurance company for reimbursement. You
can check with your insurance company to verify your benefits
if you wish to be reimbursed or, with your permission, I can
inquire for you.
Questions to ask include:

Will these benefits cover non-MD providers?
Will they cover a Licensed Clinical Social Worker?

If you choose to use in-network or out-of-network insurance coverage, please remember that your insurance carrier may require that you authorize the release of confidential information.
Cancellation/Missed Appointments
Policy:
48-hour notice is required for cancellations. If less than 48 hours is given, the full fee will be charged, unless an appointment can be re-scheduled during the same week or the cancellation is due to illness or emergency. Two weeks notice is required for a planned vacation.
